You may choose to have it inhabited by any relevant near-xeno species; reference the species territories allowed for that sector, or choose just Humans, a mixture thereof or uninhabited by any higher life forms, noting borderline sentience where appropriate. Earn 10kCr.

Map complete solar system: Generate system using the solar system generation chart (request from admin; you may then choose planets from this system for the above scouting mission. You may also request the PRN stats for Jovian and Neptunian planets. I will hopefully remove this bracketed statement when I have uploaded these documents.) Earn 10kCr.

Collect 10 flora or fauna from a single recorded planet in your starting sector. Earn rank 1 Zoologist or Botanist collectors badge + 1kCr.

Passive quests that trigger on space travel encounters:

Encounter 10 Anomalies or Space critters (Keep a separate running total); Earn rank 1 Anomaly or Critter discovery badge +1kCr.

Record 10 wandering planets (Space Master may substitute a wandering planet for any anomaly encountered if desired). Earn Rank 1 'Lost in Space' badge +10kCr.

Subclass specific quests

Navigator: Choose Clear Skies 20x during space travel when an encounter is rolled. Earn rank 1 NavProf badge +1kCr. (Navigators Proficiency)

Cartographer: Choose space debris 20x when clear skies is rolled on the encounter table. Earn rank 1 CarProf badge +1kCr. (Cartographer's Proficiency)
